In addition to his professional pursuits, Sadiq is an active participant in civic life, serving on multiple boards and advisory groups, where he continues to advocate for service, volunteerism, and the well-being of boys and young men of color in Baltimore. He is also a respected author, keynote speaker, mediator, and educator, with a commitment to lifelong learning and community engagement.
A proud graduate of Morgan State University, University of Maryland Global Campus and Harvard Business School Online, Sadiq is also deeply committed to his roles as a father, husband, and mentor. His life’s work reflects his unwavering dedication to creating a world where every young person can thrive.
Short Bio
Sadiq Ali is a highly sought after advisor, author, speaker and strategist with experience in the corporate and not-for-profit social impact sectors. He currently serves as Vice President of Alliance Community at America’s Promise Alliance and Co-Founder of the Baltimore Rites of Passage Initiative. In both these roles he focuses on building community as a verb and centering the voices of our young people. He is a graduate of the HBCU and national treasure, Morgan State University, and resides in Baltimore, MD with his beautiful wife and children.
